The Montpelier II is a large cast iron wood insert with a wide, unobstructed fire view. It converts an existing masonry fireplace into a strong, efficient heat source for 1,000 to 2,400 sq ft, and it is cast in Vermont Castings' traditional style.

Professional Installation Required

Fireplace inserts must be installed by a qualified hearth professional in a sound masonry or approved factory-built fireplace with a full-length listed stainless steel chimney liner, following the manufacturer's installation manual and local building and fire codes. A surround (cast iron or steel) is required and sold separately, as are liner components.
