  • Fluid: engine oil with a minimum of 9.0 cSt at 230 °F and API SL; the vehicle manufacturer's recommendation governs. An inlet filter is required.
  • The bypass for an HGM-H drive is on the separate pump, not the motor.
  • Hydro-Gear's HGM-H manual says the motor cannot be purged alone: purge the whole system, cycling 10–20 times in each direction.
